As a Remote Customer Retention Specialist, you will have the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a high level of professionalism and productivity.Key Responsibilities• Engage in high-volume phone contact with policyholders requesting cancellations, providing thorough and personalized service to address their concerns.• Resell the benefits of life insurance and highlight its importance to policyholders, tailoring your approach to each customer's needs.• Handle cancellation requests efficiently and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction in every interaction.• Maintain high standards for call volume, handling time, and overall time management, meeting or exceeding performance targets.• Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent oral and written communication skills, whether via phone, email, or written correspondence.Essential QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume contact center environment, a receptionist role, or any role that involved frequent phone interaction.• A High School Diploma or equivalent.• Reliable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload with a hard-wired connection).• Smartphone access for VPN use.• A quiet and professional workspace.• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic keyboard functions.• Excellent oral and written communication skills.• The ability to multi-task and work under pressure.• Strong organization and time management skills.• A detail-oriented and customer-focused approach.Preferred QualificationsWhile not essential, the following qualifications are highly preferred:• Remote work experience.• Upselling or retention experience.• Bilingual skills in Spanish (candidates who are bilingual and can pass a bilingual assessment will receive an additional $1.00 per hour).What We OfferAt blithequark, we offer a range of benefits and perks to support our employees' well-being and career growth:• Competitive pay: $16.35 per hour (+$1.00 if bilingual in Spanish and able to pass bilingual assessment).• Eligible for bonus pay based on performance.• A part-time evening shift schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM CST, Saturday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM CST.• The flexibility to work from home with equipment provided.• 4 weeks of paid training (Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM CST - 9:00 PM CST).• On-the-job training and ongoing support.• Paid time off.Career Growth OpportunitiesAt blithequark, we are committed to supporting our employees' career growth and development.
