Remote eLearning Developer Location: Remote Annual Salary: $80,433 Position Overview: We seek a highly skilled and motivated Remote eLearning Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing engaging and effective eLearning content and courses. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, instructional design skills, and a passion for creating exceptional learning experiences. Key Responsibilities: • eLearning Content Development: • Design, develop, and maintain interactive eLearning modules and courses that align with learning objectives and meet the needs of diverse audiences. • Utilize eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar) to create engaging and effective online training materials. • Develop multimedia elements, including graphics, animations, and videos, to enhance the learning experience. • Instructional Design: • Apply instructional design principles to create compelling learning experiences facilitating knowledge retention and skill development. • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with learning goals. • Conduct needs assessments to identify learning gaps and recommend solutions to address them. • Quality Assurance: • Conduct thorough testing of eLearning modules to ensure functionality, usability, and compatibility across various devices and platforms. • Implement feedback and revisions based on testing results and learner evaluations to improve course quality continuously. • Ensure adherence to eLearning standards, best practices, and accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG). • Project Management: • Manage multiple eLearning development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines. • Develop project plans to track progress and ensure completion, including milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation. • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and SMEs to provide updates, address issues, and gather feedback. • Technology Integration: • Stay current with emerging eLearning technologies, tools, and trends to enhance development practices and course offerings continuously. • Integrate eLearning modules with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other relevant platforms to ensure seamless deployment and tracking of learner progress. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to eLearning modules and platforms. • Learner Engagement: • Design and implement interactive elements and assessments to increase learner engagement and participation. • Utilize data and analytics to evaluate learner performance and course effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to improve content and delivery. • Foster a positive and supportive online learning environment by incorporating feedback and addressing learner needs. Qualifications: • Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in eLearning development, instructional design, or a related role. • Proven experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar. • Technical Skills: • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies relevant to eLearning development. • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM or xAPI standards. • Familiarity with multimedia editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia) is a plus. • Soft Skills: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote work environment. • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and contributing to team success.
