This is a remote, full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on complex and challenging employment law matters for a diverse range of clients. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our legal strategy and operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and seeks to leverage their expertise in employment law to drive positive outcomes for our clients. Responsibilities: 1. Handling a broad range of employment litigation matters, including administrative charges, attorney demand letters, and EPLI cases. 2. Developing and implementing effective case strategies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. 3. Drafting and reviewing a wide array of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. 4. Conducting depositions, representing clients at hearings, conferences, and trials. 5. Supervising and mentoring junior attorneys and support staff. 6. Staying abreast of changes in employment law and advising clients on potential impacts. 7. Collaborating with other members of the legal team to ensure a cohesive approach to client representation. Qualifications: 1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. 2. Admission to the California Bar (may reside outside CA) 3. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in employment litigation, with a strong track record of handling administrative charges, attorney demand letters, PAGA, and EPLI cases. 4. Proven experience in handling employment matters directly and supervising others. 5. Strong skills in developing case strategies, drafting and reviewing work product, conducting depositions, and representing clients at hearings, conferences, and trials. 6. Comprehensive knowledge of labor and employment law matters. 7. The ability to work independently in a remote setting, with excellent time management and organizational skills. 8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional client service. 9. A high level of professionalism and ethical standards.
