Key Responsibilities As a Night Barista and Housekeeper, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties that include: Preparing and serving specialty beverages, including coffee, tea, and chocolate, using various equipment such as espresso machines and coffee urns. Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the coffee area, including equipment, seating areas, and condiment bars. Performing housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, disposing of garbage, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the facility. Operating a cash register, handling cash and credit transactions, and maintaining accurate records. Assisting with general organization of merchandise, creating sales orders, invoices, and purchase orders as needed. Complying with health and safety regulations, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns to supervisors. Working effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision, making decisions as needed, and being flexible with scheduling and duties. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you must have: A high school diploma or GED equivalent. At least one year of experience as a barista, with knowledge of coffee preparation and presentation. At least one year of experience in commercial housekeeping or a related field, with knowledge of cleaning equipment and processes. The ability to pass all pre-employment contract requirements, including drug testing, physical assessment, and fit for duty evaluation. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and clients. The ability to work in a remote camp setting, adhering to cleanliness and safety standards. Proficiency in English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. Preferred qualifications include experience working in remote or challenging environments, knowledge of industrial cleaning processes, and previous experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
