[Remote] Oracle Developer - Senior Software Developer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AEM Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Developer with extensive experience in Oracle development. The role involves developing Oracle packages, providing architecture recommendations, and ensuring data quality, security, and performance optimization. Responsibilities • Minimum 5 years experience developing Oracle packages, procedures, functions • Experience with ETL using Oracle Data Integrator • Provide architecture recommendations to support reporting, database and middle-tier components • Experience writing shell scripts and task automation • Experience developing and implementing the below: • Data quality • Data archival • Data security • Data interfaces and mappings • Data standards • Experience with database design • Experience with performance optimization and advanced troubleshooting • Ability to support database design and PL/SQL functionality not just from a technical perspective but from a business perspective • Analytic ability to make forward thinking database architecture recommendations • Extensive implementation skills covering a wide range of Oracle solutions • Experience with recommending and configuring security • Ability to work effectively in a strong team-oriented environment • Ability to prioritize requests from multiple projects and support requirements • Self-motivated; taking ownership of projects and issues, including follow through to closure and resolution • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to details • Strong focus on internal and external customer requirements Skills • Minimum 5 years experience developing Oracle packages, procedures, functions • Experience with ETL using Oracle Data Integrator • Provide architecture recommendations to support reporting, database and middle-tier components • Experience writing shell scripts and task automation • Experience developing and implementing data quality • Experience developing and implementing data archival • Experience developing and implementing data security • Experience developing and implementing data interfaces and mappings • Experience developing and implementing data standards • Experience with database design • Experience with performance optimization and advanced troubleshooting • Ability to support database design and PL/SQL functionality not just from a technical perspective but from a business perspective • Analytic ability to make forward thinking database architecture recommendations • Extensive implementation skills covering a wide range of Oracle solutions • Experience with recommending and configuring security • Ability to work effectively in a strong team-oriented environment • Ability to prioritize requests from multiple projects and support requirements • Self-motivated; taking ownership of projects and issues, including follow through to closure and resolution • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to details • Strong focus on internal and external customer requirements • College Degree (BS, BA, or AAS) in Computer Science or Information Technology related field.
