[Remote] Senior Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller – SaaS – Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Advice Personnel is a recruiting firm seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to work remotely for a B2B and B2C SaaS platform. The role involves overseeing accounting operations, treasury, and reporting while managing a team and ensuring accurate financial practices. Responsibilities • Provide direction and guidance to the Accounting team as they perform their duties to ensure timely, accurate and consistent delivery • Ownership of all bank account activity, ensuring all accounts are funded and money is allocated correctly, and provide a final sign-off on payroll • Conduct corporate accounting responsibilities surrounding reporting, fixed assets, lender reporting, consolidations, and technical accounting projects • Assist with the quarterly and yearly financial statements and financial controls audits • Prepare balance sheet and income statement variance analysis for management and assist with all financial reporting needs • Monitor and analyze department work to improve and develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy • Assist in the management of auditor engagements for completion of annual audit reports • Participate in various business processes and technology integration initiatives Skills • 7+ years’ experience in a mix of public and private accounting, preferably within a tech/SaaS revenue model • Proficiency in application of US GAAP • Ability to strategically approach challenges in a creative manner while prioritizing multiple deadlines and responsibilities • Strong interpersonal skills with experience working cross-departmentally with multiple areas of a large organization • CPA (or international equivalent) • NetSuite experience a strong plus Company Overview • Advice is a boutique recruiting firm specializing in placing professionals in accounting and tax, finance, real estate operations, human resources, office support and go-to-market.
