[Remote] Senior Superintendent - Aviation

Metric Geo is seeking a highly skilled Senior Superintendent to lead the delivery of large, complex aviation construction projects across the United States. This role involves ensuring every project meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and execution while managing crews and subcontractors in active airport settings. Responsibilities • Direct and oversee all field construction activities on major airport projects, including terminals, concourses, parking structures, and airside/landside infrastructure. • Lead and coordinate project superintendents, field engineers, subcontractors, and craft workers to achieve safe, efficient, and high-quality results. • Maintain rigorous compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, ensuring a zero-incident jobsite culture. • Manage project sequencing and logistics to minimize disruption to live airport operations. • Collaborate closely with project management, preconstruction, and engineering teams to resolve field challenges, improve workflows, and ensure alignment on schedule and budget goals. • Build and maintain strong relationships with airport authorities, design teams, and trade partners. • Mentor field leaders and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. • Represent the company’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and integrity on every project. Skills • Extensive experience in aviation or transportation construction, including large-scale terminal, concourse, or airside infrastructure projects. • Demonstrated success leading large, complex field operations and managing multiple subcontractors. • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, and cost management. • Proven ability to work effectively in secure, active airport environments. • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Commitment to maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. • Proficiency with project management software and field reporting tools. • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the U.S., often for extended durations. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline preferred; equivalent field experience strongly considered.
