Forecast Energy is seeking a Renewable Energy Analyst to join their team, focusing on renewable energy, sustainability, and energy technology. The role involves evaluating energy needs and developing renewable energy solutions for residential, commercial, and community-based clients. Responsibilities Engage with residential and or commercial clients to understand energy usage, goals, and constraints Analyze utility data, site conditions, and system performance considerations Develop solar, storage, and microgrid concepts grounded in technical accuracy Prepare clear, thoughtful proposals that educate clients on their options Support projects aligned with your experience and technical strengths Research incentives, rebates, and grant opportunities relevant to each project Assist with grant applications and supporting documentation when applicable Stay current on renewable energy technology, codes, and funding programs Build long term client relationships through trust, clarity, and follow through Skills Strong technical knowledge or background in energy systems, engineering, construction, sustainability, or related fields Ability to analyze data and translate it into clear, practical recommendations Strong communication skills with an emphasis on education and transparency Organized, self directed, and comfortable managing multiple projects Sales experience preferred, but more importantly the ability to engage with clients, build trust, and create new connections organically Familiarity with solar PV, battery storage, or electrical systems is a plus Experience with grant research or writing is a plus Benefits Flexibility to shape your focus area and schedule Support, training, and collaboration from an experienced in-house team Opportunities to work on complex, meaningful renewable energy projects A culture grounded in integrity, technical rigor, and respect for the work Company Overview Forecast Energy is a Washington-based renewable energy contractor dedicated to advancing solar, storage, and microgrid solutions that strengthen community resilience and expand access to clean power.
