What You’ll Do Are you a collaborative research leader who thrives on delivering high-quality insights and guiding a team to excellence? In this Research Services Manager role, you will lead a seasoned group of research professionals supporting attorneys and staff across our New York and Boston offices. As part of the Research Services function within the firm, you’ll drive service quality, oversee daily operations, and contribute directly to non-legal research that advances client work and firm strategy. Research Services Leadership – Oversee all aspects of Research Services and library operations for the New York and Boston offices, ensuring strong coverage, rapid response times, and consistently high-quality service, including support for urgent after-hours requests. Hands-On Research Execution – Conduct non-legal research, including ready reference and in-depth inquiries across corporate transactional, litigation, intellectual property, and news/media areas. Team Management & Development – Manage the New York Research Services team, including recruiting, training, day-to-day supervision, and performance feedback to ensure continued growth and excellence. Training & Orientation – Deliver Research Services onboarding and coordinate database training for new attorneys and legal staff to build firmwide research proficiency. Internal Engagement & Promotion – Actively market Research Services offerings, build strong relationships across practice groups, and increase visibility of team capabilities. Apply tot his job
