Key Responsibilities: What You'll Do as a Retail Payment Clerk Customer Transactions: Conduct customer purchases, returns, and exchanges via our point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions. Customer Service: Provide warm greetings, comprehensive product information, and assistance with store navigation to make customers feel at home. Address and escalate any complaints or concerns promptly. Cash Handling: Perform cash handling procedures, including balance checking and accurate accounting of all transactions. Sales Promotion: Inform customers about current sales promotions, rewards programs, and limited-time offers, and encourage participation in our credit card program. Bagging and Packaging: Ensure correct bagging and packaging of items to prevent damage during transport, and offer assistance with loading larger or heavier items into customers' vehicles.
