Sales Assistant, Commercial Lines
Heffernan Insurance Brokers is looking for a Sales Assistant to join its Commercial Lines team. The primary function of this position is to assist Producers with new business research, marketing, and other approaches to increase sales productivity. Responsibilities Coordinate and maintain appointment calendar Coordinate meetings and events with external and internal personnel Maintain confidentiality of all duties assigned by Producer Submit monthly expense reports for Producers, or as necessary Maximize the use of Sales and other software platforms as necessary Prepare claims analysis reports Gather underwriting information and assist with carrier submissions Assist in completing new business applications and accords New business marketing to include: Develop, cross reference, and research prospect lists Emphasis on x-dates, carrier, broker, number of employees, number of locations, decisions makers, and more necessary information Upload prospects, and help manage Sales data base Outreach management and email campaigns Help manage mailers, in-person, and other marketing campaigns Help plan routes for drop-offs Other duties and special projects as assigned Skills Education - High School graduate/GED required Must have experience working in a team environment Minimum of 1-2 years working in an office environment.
