Overview: We are seeking an experienced Salesforce CPQ Administrator & Developer to architect and maintain advanced CPQ solutions within Salesforce, supporting large-scale budget data and a dynamic set of variables in a fast-paced agency environment. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong financial acumen and an analytical mindset, enabling the design of elegant, scalable solutions for complex pricing and quoting scenarios. In addition, proven experience managing the release lifecycle, including planning, coordinating, and controlling the movement of releases to test and production environments. Responsibilities should include submitting and reviewing change requests, testing updates in staging environments, collaborating with Dev, QA, and impacted internal teams for smooth deployments, communicating release schedules and risks, and thoroughly documenting all changes for compliance and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce CPQ solutions to support intricate pricing models and budget management. • Architect solutions with considerations to existing and future application integrations; using Mulesoft Anypoint or other middleware solutions. • Build and optimize complex calculations, rules, and workflows within Salesforce CPQ, ensuring accuracy and scalability. • Implement and optimize complex calculations, pricing rules, product rules, configuration attributes, quote terms, and document templates. • Ensure CPQ performance, data accuracy, and scalability for large data volumes. • Collaborate with finance, sales, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions, clearly communicate design to stakeholders • Integrate financial accounting principles and mathematical logic into CPQ processes for robust data management and reporting. • Analyze large volumes of budget data, identify patterns, and opportunities for process improvement. • Ensure CPQ configurations adapt to ever-changing variables and business requirements. • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for CPQ functionality. • Document solutions, processes, and changes in accordance with company standards. • Train Salesforce admins, users and stakeholders on CPQ features and best practices. • Stay current with Salesforce releases and CPQ innovations, recommending improvements as appropriate. • Follow best practices while deploying CPQ related components from Sandbox to PROD • Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Finance, Mathematics, or related field. • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ administration and development. • Strong background in financial accounting and advanced mathematics. • Proven track record of designing solutions for complex, variable data sets. Certifications (Required/Preferred): • Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist (Required) • Salesforce Certified Administrator (Preferred) • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (Preferred) • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder (Preferred) • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant (Preferred) Skills & Experience: • Technical Proficiency: Highly skilled in Salesforce CPQ, Apex, Lightning, and related Salesforce technologies. • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to analyze data, solve complex problems, and design elegant solutions. • Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial accounting principles and their application in CPQ processes. • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing requirements. • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders. • Discipline & Project Management: Experience managing concurrent projects and meeting deadlines. • Continuous Improvement: Creative thinker with a drive for process optimization and innovation.
