Seasonal Customer Care Specialist 1 - Remote - Florida - Nordstrom - Tampa, FL - work from home job Company: Nordstrom Job description: Job Description In this Seasonal Customer CARE Specialist 1 role, you will be the voice of Nordstrom and/or Nordstrom Rack, fielding real-time calls from customers across the country during peak/scaled events in a virtual contact center environment. The ideal Customer CARE Specialist 1 is caring and compassionate, enthusiastic, solutions-oriented and committed to providing outstanding service to all our customers. Location: This role is a fully remote, work from home position. All Nordstrom ‘Remote Work Policy’ guidelines and requirements must be met. All work must be done in designated, approved home office location. Candidate location restrictions apply. Nordstrom can offer remote employment of this position in: Florida Shifts: Seasonal, full-time. Shift times will vary upon business need. Schedule flexibility, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime is required. Paid! Training: Start dates as soon as 10/3 Orientation: 1 week – Tuesday – Friday, 7:00AM – 4:00PM PST Training: 3 weeks – Monday – Friday, 7:00AM – 4:00PM PST • Attendance at Orientation and Training is required Work from Home Subsidy! A day in the life… • Act as a Brand Ambassador for the Nordstrom company, providing world-class service to all Customers • Successfully troubleshoot and resolve all customer service inquiries or issues via incoming phone contacts • Provide Customers with critical service and product information, ensuring customer satisfaction via incoming phone contacts • Process orders and enter data into order entry system via incoming phone contacts • Track customer packages • Other duties as assigned You own this if you have… • The ability to meet the Nordstrom Remote Work Policy and all detailed expectations, including, but not limited to: • Reliable Internet connection with minimum required speeds of 5 MB/s upload and 50 MB/s download - Internet connection must be wired to modem; wireless internet connection not permitted • A quiet, distraction free, secure home workspace • The ability to work your entire shift using a computer while stationed at a desk, wearing a headset • Participation in video calls using both the sound and video features of the video conference platform • Excellent communication skills • Conflict management skills and professional composure • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a high sense of urgency • Understanding of computer systems and troubleshooting issues with minimal assistance • The ability to work a set schedule (scheduled start, stop, breaks and lunches), including nights, weekends, and holidays, with required overtime as business needs; flexibility required during peak times • 6+ months experience within a customer service-focused environment, such as contact center, retail, hospitality, or food and beverage (preferred) We’ve got you covered… Our employees are our most important asset and that’s reflected in our benefits.
