As a Seasonal Data Entry Operator, you will be part of our Information Technology Services Division, working in the Information Transcription Unit. Job Summary We are seeking multiple Seasonal Data Entry Operators to work on a part-time, seasonal basis from March 31st to May 16th, 2025. As a Seasonal Data Entry Operator, you will be responsible for entering or repairing alphanumeric information from source documents and images using specialized browser-based applications. You will also capture data and/or verify the accuracy of OCR data, correct logic errors, and math blocks. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in data entry and contribute to the success of our organization. Key Responsibilities Use specialized browser-based applications to enter or repair alphanumeric information from source documents and images. Capture data and/or verify the accuracy of OCR data, correct logic errors, and math blocks. Work accurately and efficiently to meet productivity standards. Follow procedures closely and maintain attention to detail. Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this position, you must meet the following essential qualifications: Three months of full-time experience in data entry or word processing, including operating electronic data entry or word processing equipment to input information from source documents. A keyboard (typing) speed of at least 45 words per minute. Completion of an established data entry training course using electronic data entry equipment may be substituted for up to three months of experience. Additional Information This is an SEIU-represented position, and the salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range.
