What we are looking for • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, with 5+ years in Azure environments • Expertise in Azure infrastructure, networking, and security, including VNets, Front Door, WAF, Firewalls (Premium + IDPS), VPN, DNS, AD, App Service, Container Apps, Function Apps, Event Hub, Defender, and Sentinel • Preferred experience administering Azure AD B2C, with deep understanding of identity and authentication security best practices • Strong experience with Terraform (IaC), managing scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure. • Experience managing CI/CD pipelines with Azure Pipelines, incorporating security and performance testing • Expertise in Application Performance Monitoring (APM) with Datadog strongly preferred, including real-time alerting and troubleshooting • Familiarity with Hub-and-Spoke network architecture and cloud security principles • Strong database administration experience with Azure SQL Server, including cloud-based backup, replication, and high-availability strategies. Experience with the Hyperscale service tier is a strong plus. • Experience with disaster recovery, incident management, and high-availability architectures • Deep understanding of DevSecOps principles, including security compliance, role-based access control, and vulnerability management • Proficiency in Git and GitHub for version control and workflow automation • Experience in optimizing cloud costs (FinOps) and monitoring usage trends. • Ability to thrive in a detail-oriented, fast-paced remote work environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience supporting a remote team • Azure and/or Security certification(s) a plus Responsibilities • Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure, networking, security, and identity management, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and industry best practices • Ensure customer-facing systems maintain high availability and rapid incident response, including automated failover and disaster recovery strategies • Maintain and enhance Azure Pipelines for seamless CI/CD workflows, integrating automated security, unit, integration, and end-to-end testing • Implement and manage Terraform for infrastructure automation • Own the Datadog APM ecosystem, implementing best practices for monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure system health and compliance • Implement DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, role-based access controls (RBAC), and proactive threat mitigation using Azure Defender and Sentinel • Continuously monitor Azure cost trends, implementing FinOps strategies to optimize cloud expenses while maintaining performance and security • Administer and enhance Azure AD B2C, ensuring secure authentication and identity management • Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity and business continuity • Work closely with Engineering and Security teams, documenting best practices, infrastructure changes, and operational procedures Company Benefits • Competitive salary and bonuses, including performance-based salary increases. • Generous paid-time-off policy • Flexible working hours • Work remotely • Continuing education, training, conferences • Company-sponsored coursework, exams, and certifications Being a consultant in our team is a fun, challenging, and rewarding career choice.
