Senior Backend Engineer

Your mission As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in designing and scaling the systems that power our Ad-Tech platform including high-throughput tracking pipelines. You'll work alongside data scientists, product specialists, and frontend developers to drive measurable impact across millions of daily user interactions. Architect and build high-scale backend systems to power real-time decision-making, ad delivery, and performance tracking. Design efficient APIs and services that serve internal teams and external partners with low-latency and high reliability REST and GraphQL included. Work on data-intensive components, including event processing, attribution tracking, and campaign performance monitoring. Ensure high performance under load, applying profiling, caching strategies, and horizontal scaling to keep systems fast and reliable. Integrate with third-party platforms, including MMPs, and analytics tools, using RESTful APIs Contribute to containerized deployments and observability using Docker, Kubernetes, and modern monitoring stacks. Mentor and guide engineers through complex technical challenges, architecture reviews, and clean, scalable design. Collaborate cross-functionally with product and data teams to deliver features that directly influence campaign effectiveness and advertiser ROI. Your profile 5+ years of backend engineering experience, with at least 2+ in a high-volume, data-rich environment (Ad-Tech preferred). Strong Python expertise, with production experience in FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks. Deep understanding of API design and backend system integration. Familiarity with both REST and GraphQL. Experience with distributed systems, queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and event-driven architectures. Strong performance tuning and scaling skills, especially in latency-sensitive systems. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and a solid grasp of cloud infrastructure and container orchestration. Ad-Tech familiarity: Experience with ad serving logic, tracking systems, fraud prevention, or real-time bidding is a significant plus. Analytical mindset: You think in systems, solve problems holistically, and love optimizing for scale and efficiency.
