As a Senior Consultant in AI, you will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering modern AI/ML solutions with a high degree of independence. You bring broad hands-on expertise across AI technologies and thrive in environments that require creative problem‑solving, strong consulting skills, and the ability to translate complex client needs into scalable, high‑quality solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building, collaborating, and shaping real-world AI outcomes. Responsibilities Technical Delivery • Build and deliver AI/ML and data solutions on Azure with minimal oversight. • Apply modern frameworks, tools, and engineering practices to design scalable solutions. • Ensure solutions meet expectations for performance, reliability, security, and quality. Client Engagement • Contribute to discovery sessions and solution‑design workshops with technical insight. • Translate business requirements into actionable, well‑structured technical components. • Build trust with client stakeholders through thoughtful communication and high-quality delivery. Project & Delivery Management • Work independently within project teams to deliver assigned components on time and with quality. • Collaborate with architects and project leads to address technical and delivery challenges. • Support pre‑sales and proposal development by providing technical expertise. Leadership & People Development • Share knowledge with peers and junior team members. • Contribute to practice assets including best practices, frameworks, and accelerators. • Stay current with emerging AI trends and proactively expand your skills. Requirements Education & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience). • 2–5 years of relevant experience with demonstrated ability to independently contribute across most areas of AI solution delivery. • Prior consulting or client‑facing experience preferred. Proficiency across most of the following areas: • Agents & Orchestration – leveraging Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or similar frameworks to design intelligent workflows; applying tool/function calling, planner and agent-based patterns, and workflow automation engines • Search & Retrieval – implementing solutions with vector databases such as Azure AI Search, Pinecone, FAISS, or Milvus; applying hybrid search methods, re-ranking strategies, and selecting embedding models for accuracy and performance • Evaluation, Quality & LLM Operations – establishing offline and online evaluation approaches; using golden datasets, hallucination and groundedness validation, toxicity and safety testing; building telemetry and feedback loops; managing monitoring, deployment pipelines, and ongoing optimization of large language models • Responsible AI, Security & Privacy – incorporating practices such as threat modeling, privacy reviews, data minimization, safety guardrails, policy enforcement, auditability, and model risk management in line with GDPR and organizational standards • AI Platforms & Data Foundations – applying hands-on experience with Azure AI services, Databricks, Azure OpenAI, and related modern data platforms • Cloud Engineering – designing with APIs, containers, microservices, and DevOps pipelines to deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions • Data Integration & Governance – developing and managing data pipelines; applying quality controls, metadata practices, and master data management approaches • Analytics & Visualization – delivering insights with Power BI and other visualization tools • Proficiency with modern development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor • Ability to work with little to no oversight while delivering assigned work • Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams • Ability to translate technical work into business value during client interactions • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to learn • Balance autonomy with teamwork, contributing reliably to larger project goals Don't meet every single requirement?
