About the position Responsibilities • Analyze a wide range of complex and detailed facts or situations, deciding which facts are relevant. • Challenge facts and evidence at their own discretion. • Exhibit excellent judgment skills in high-pressure situations and advise mostly C-Suite and C-1 Level. • Seek out and analyze all available information comprehensively before defining problems, drawing conclusions, and developing solutions. • Manage cross-region policy formation. • Be acknowledged as an expert in their field, working largely unsupervised and managed from a distance. • Review existing operations in their area of work and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas, ensuring continuous improvements. • Contribute to the development of annual and longer-term business plans. • Plan and organize a broad range of complex activities, formulating and adjusting plans and strategies as needed. • Prioritize workload and responsibilities to align with personal, team, functional, and customer objectives. • Develop and deliver projects or workstreams within change management initiatives. • Document complex 'as is' and 'to be' processes, describing the changes required to migrate to the 'to be' capability accurately. • Work across functions, levels of management, and regions. • Act as a mentor for more junior team members. • Influence direction and approach through strong alignment with the customer, identifying solutions to their long-term issues and offering insights to support their strategic objectives. • Relate well to a broad range of people within and across departments by being approachable and demonstrating interpersonal sensitivity. • Proactively engage others by showing respect, care, and consideration for the views and contributions of all colleagues. • Establish collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Develop and maintain a wide network of contacts and partnerships. Requirements • Recognized Juris Doctor (J.D.), or equivalent. • Qualified to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction. • Over 8 years of experience in both private and government law practice strongly preferred. • Experience of coaching more junior colleagues (Preferred Over 12 to 18 months).
