The Role: Senior Customer Service Representative – Healthcare/Medicare In this critical role, you will be the voice of arenaflex, providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers via our inbound Call Center Operations. As a Senior Customer Service Representative, you will not only address customer inquiries and concerns but also mentor new call center agents and support the improvement of your peers. Your expertise and experience in healthcare, particularly in Medicare and Medicare Advantage, will be invaluable in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support. Key Responsibilities: Receive and respond to inbound phone calls for customer assistance, ensuring timely and effective resolution of queries and issues. Respond to outbound phone call requests, maintaining a proactive approach to customer service. Document all calls in our ticketing and tracking systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of customer interaction records. Respond to customer inquiries and provide data to customers within required time frames, demonstrating a commitment to efficiency and customer satisfaction. Function as a liaison between the claims department and providers, facilitating seamless communication and issue resolution. Research customer claims in primary payor systems, utilizing your knowledge of healthcare operations to resolve complex issues. Ability to take escalated calls and issues, utilizing your experience and judgment to resolve challenging customer situations. Basic understanding of MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel, to efficiently document and manage customer interactions. 3+ years of experience in a Healthcare Call Center operations, including Medicare/Medicare Advantage, providing a solid foundation for your role at arenaflex. High school degree required, with a preference for candidates who have pursued higher education in a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Customer Service software experience, with the ability to list specific platforms you have worked with. Healthcare Call center experience: 2 years or more, demonstrating your commitment to the industry and your ability to thrive in a fast-paced call center environment.
