Our Immediate to Shopper group is at the forefront of this mission, overseeing the Hulu and Disney streaming organizations within Disney Diversion. We're now seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team in the Subscriber Operations function within the Data Analysis group. As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll play a critical role in driving business success by analyzing subscriber adjustments across our Disney Streaming portfolio, including Disney, Hulu, ESPN, and Star. About the Role This is a full-time, remote opportunity to work with a dynamic team that is shaping the future of entertainment. As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for supporting real-time subscriber metering for various business-critical initiatives. Your primary focus will be on ensuring accurate delivery of subscription change messaging, including cost increments, subscriber arrangements, and new data being gathered. You'll work closely with our upstream messaging partners to determine which subscribers should receive our legally committed warnings. Key Responsibilities Manage intake and document data requirements related to subscriber messaging initiatives (including cost increments, subscriber arrangements, and new data being gathered) and episode remediation (ensuring that the right customers receive refunds when necessary). Develop queries based on required business logic, sometimes legally committing, to determine accurate companions of subscribers for messaging and/or remediation. Convey business requirements to technical teams and provide concise summaries of technical progress and/or detours to business partners. Develop a solid understanding of subscriber adjustments and the technical infrastructure that underlies subscriber data. Manage project planning and schedules and lead cross-functional delivery to ensure preparedness for significant business events. Drive alignment across Data, Business Operations, and Finance through the development of robust communication processes and operational playbooks. In collaboration with Data Product and Data Quality Engineering, contribute to the design of robust reporting solutions that minimize data incidents. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A minimum of 2 years of work experience creating in SQL, particularly in an ETL processing pipeline. 2 years of analytical experience, with a proven track record of delivering insights that drive business outcomes. Demonstrated expertise in communicating technical and/or scientific concepts to a wide range of audiences. Knowledge of Python/R or other statistical programming languages. Familiarity with data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc. Strong relational skills, as well as written and verbal presentation abilities. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge: Understanding of statistical concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis).
