As a Senior Software Engineer on our Conjur Secrets Manager Enterprise product, Secrets Vault and Privilege Engine that developers, security administrators, and DevOps professionals worldwide use to secure cloud/native applications and dev ops environments. you'll play a key role in securing cloud-native apps, DevOps pipelines, and distributed environments used by the world’s largest organizations. You won’t just write code—you’ll shape how secrets are protected at scale. What You’ll Do: Design and build the backbone of secure infrastructure—our secrets management platform trusted by Fortune 500s. Engineer with impact: Coding - Containers - Container Orchestration Develop high-performance, scalable systems using Golang , Java, Ruby , and Python . Work with the modern stack: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Terraform, Helm, Rancher , and more. Automate everything : Deliver tools and infrastructure that remove manual work and reduce risk. Deliver open source : Contribute to and create tools used by the developer and security communities. Qualifications 5+ years of professional software development experience Proficiency in one or more of the following: Go, Ruby, Python, PostgreSQL Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Podman, OpenShift Familiarity with DevOps tooling: Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet, etc. Experience working with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP A product mindset—you care about user experience, not just clean code Passion for automation, security, and scalable architecture Excellent communication and documentation skills Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a collaborative, team-first attitude You’ll Succeed Here If You: Care deeply about writing maintainable, high-quality code Know how to manage and reduce technical debt Get involved with end-to-end solutions early to de-risk development Enjoy mentoring and multiplying the impact of your team Seek fast feedback loops—especially from real users Take pride in the overall product experience, not just your piece Automate relentlessly and avoid manual, repetitive work Participate in (or speak at) industry events and open-source communities Hold yourself and your teammates to high standards Embrace new tools, languages, and technologies with enthusiasm Understand and value the DevOps ecosystem Why CyberArk? The salary range for this position is $119,000 – $165,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
