Sr IT Architect - Merchandising Systems & Processing 100% remote, but will need to be open to 1 week of travel to Illinois per quarter Full Time/ Perm role - this role will NOT provide Sponsorship Senior Architect Retail Merchandising We are seeking a Senior Architect with deep experience in retail merchandising to lead application architecture and large-scale merchandising transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Own architecture for core merchandising capabilities including demand planning, assortment planning, allocation, and replenishment. • Define and govern application architecture standards and integration patterns. • Lead platform evaluations, solution design, and executive-level presentations. • Architect integrations between merchandising platforms and ERP systems. Required Experience • 7+ years as a Solution or Application Architect in retail merchandising environments. • Strong domain expertise in demand planning, forecasting, allocation & replenishment, assortment planning, pricing, and master data. • Hands-on experience with platforms such as o9, Blue Yonder, Oracle Retail, or equivalent. • ERP integration experience; SAP preferred. • Proven full-cycle delivery experience and strong SDLC knowledge. Preferred • Experience with AI in retail environments. • Experience working in agile or product-based delivery models.
