About Our Operational Risk Management Team Our Operational Risk Management (ORM) team is the backbone of our risk management framework, ensuring that our business operations are aligned with the highest standards of risk management. We're a dynamic team of professionals who collaborate closely with various business units, functional areas, and geographies to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks. As a Senior Manager - Operational Risk Management, you'll lead the operational loss events (OREs) team, driving the development and implementation of effective risk management programs that safeguard our business and reputation. Key Responsibilities Lead the Operational Loss Events (OREs) Team: Oversee the accurate classification, reporting, and escalation of OREs, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and internal policies. Risk Management Expertise: Challenge and validate first-line loss data, including root causes and remediation efforts, to ensure the effectiveness of our risk management strategies. Financial Impact Analysis: Conduct financial impact analysis and report to senior management and regulators, providing actionable insights that inform business decisions. Trend Analysis and KRI Development: Analyze loss trends to identify areas for improvement and develop Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and metrics to measure risk exposure. Scenario Analysis and Stress Testing: Support and document scenario analysis, stress testing, and planning processes, ensuring that our risk management strategies are robust and effective. Stakeholder Management: Interact with various stakeholders, including business leaders, risk managers, and regulators, to educate and inform them on operational risk management best practices. Process Improvement: Leverage technology to enhance our ORE model and framework, driving process improvements and efficiency gains. Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need: Operational Risk Management Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operational risk management, preferably within a risk or internal audit function. Regulatory Frameworks: Experience working within regulatory frameworks for systemically important banks, such as Basel II, Basel III, stress testing, and capital adequacy requirements. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively. Project Management Skills: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders, including business leaders, risk managers, and regulators. Continuous Improvement Mindset: A strong understanding of the importance of high-quality processes, continuous improvement, and best practices in operational risk management.
