Senior Pay Per Click Strategist Job Summary Review, assess, and improve existing Pay Per Click (PPC) and Local Service Ad (LSA) strategies to help drive department success to achieve department KPls and to improve client ROI. Assist PPC Manager and Senior Digital Marketing Strategist in achieving PPC initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and being the trusted mentor to colleagues through continuous coaching and training for the team. You will also be a trusted resource to other departments, including Sales and Customer Success, for all things PPC. You may be asked to contribute to improving overall department efficiency and scalability, using data-driven ideas and techniques, to further scale and grow the department and better serve our clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Utilize Salesforce and other third-party tools for analytics, reporting, & interpretation • Proactively identify at-risk trends and/or clients via metrics and reporting to help reduce attrition • Oversee strategy results which may include a/b testing, varying methods of interpreting data, and identifying areas for cross-department collaboration • Understand and contribute to improved PPC "At-Risk" strategy and process • Stay ahead of digital marketing trends and help to anticipate coming client needs to help us gain and/or keep our competitive advantages • Assist PPC management to review, assess, and propose improved Pay-Per-Click (PPC) product solutions, processes, and packages including pricing, workflows, automation, etc. • Work closely with department management regarding strategies to improve impressions, traffic, and conversions and help project management those initiatives • Assist in client keyword focus and strategy via AdWords, Google Analytics, etc. • Collaborate with Sales, when needed, to recommend and propose PPC and/or LSA products for niche, regional, and/or custom clients • Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure an optimal client experience, including onboarding through the client lifecycle • Mentor PPC staff through continuous coaching and support • Assist PPC management to integrate new verticals and/or PPC-related products to ensure they are seamlessly implemented • Assist with the "Product Knowledge" gap in other departments by being a liaison and go-to resource Key Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications: • 2-3 years' experience in paid search and local service ads • Expertise in SEO analytics and strategy • Google Analytics certified • GoogleAds certified • Experience in GoogleAd Manager (MCC) • Proficient in Excel and working with complex and/or large data sets • Microsoft Office proficient • Salesforce proficient • Understanding of direct response and interactive marketing best practices • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment • Professional and personal integrity • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience at a digital marketing agency • CSS/HTML experience for landing page development • Knowledge and experience using online bid management platforms • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills Physical/Mental Requirements for the Job: • Prolonged periods of sedentary movement. • May be requested to work overtime and weekends if deemed necessary. • Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds. • Certain management positions might be required to occasional travel.
