ABOUT FRETERIUM Freterium is a cloud-based transport management SaaS that offers the easiest and most automated way for manufacturers, retailers, and logistics firms, to manage their daily road freight shipments. Relied on by global brands including Danone, Mondelez, Jumia, Freterium's platform helps customers boost productivity, reduce transport costs, and improve customer satisfaction. Freterium was born in Morocco and is expanding globally. The team has more than doubled in size last year and is looking to double again in 2022. Freterium is a Y Combinator startup and part of the 212 Founders program. What you will do: • You'll work with other software engineers to build and own features across a modern tech stack. • Turn technical requirements into a plan to execute, test, and deliver on time. • Be part (and responsible for) the entire development cycle of your product, from the definition to the release into production. • Use PHP to provide optimized, readable, maintainable and performant solutions through existing and new Custom Module development. • Use sql knowledge to craft efficient queries. • Work together with the Product team to implement new features and products on our platforms. • Continually learn and apply relevant software development practices, patterns, tools, and technologies. • Mentoring your peers or be mentored by your peers in various in-house mentorship. • Contribute to improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes. • Experience implementing production web services and APIs; • Hands-on experience with relational databases and ORM (MySQL, Doctrine) • Good knowledge of software design patterns and principles This job is for you if: • You have more than 5 years of experience in BackEnd Development. • You have this human contact and you know how to solve issues. • You know how to be a good ambassador of our brand • you have solid experience with: PHP (Symfony/Laravel), MySQL Why should you join us? • Early-stage startup: You will join an early-stage startup with small team.
