The Senior Privacy Analyst will work in the direction of the UnitedHealthcare Privacy Office Leadership Team and assist the entire team with day-to-day management of office privacy affairs. The primary function of the Sr. Privacy Analyst is to conduct and manage investigations into reports of privacy and security incidents across multiple lines of business. This position is required to handle multiple tasks and work streams simultaneously in a fast-paced, highly matrixed corporate environment. The Sr. Privacy Analyst will also provide privacy and data security guidance to business areas and will coordinate with various internal departments to ensure operational and procedural compliance with state and federal regulations as necessary. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities Perform, manage and track a high volume of privacy and security investigations Ensure reporting/notification requirements related to privacy and security investigations are met Assist with privacy awareness training and specific course content development as needed, based on issue/incident experience Provide research and analysis as needed on privacy and data security matters Assist the team in advising and counseling on state/federal regulatory requirements in privacy and data security Collaborate with Optum and UHG privacy segments as well as Information Technology and Information Risk Management areas on enterprise-wide objectives Supports the Privacy function in developing, implementing, and administering enterprise-wide policies and programs related to privacy and data protection legal and regulatory requirements. These policy programs cover customer, member, patient, and employee privacy and data protection, as appropriate. The Privacy job function may also manage incident and breach investigations, train employees, ensure information minimization and appropriate use, and oversee individual rights requests and programs Generally, work is self-directed and not prescribed Works with less structured, more complex issues Serves as a resource for others What are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
