We're seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager II - Commerce Product Insights to join our team and help shape the future of Disney's media business. About the Role As a Senior Product Manager II - Commerce Product Insights, you'll play a critical role in building tools and capabilities for real-time monitoring and alerting across our Commerce, Growth, and Identity systems. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to assess the performance of these systems, provide actionable insights, and drive business growth. Our Commerce platform has experienced tremendous growth, supporting over 80 countries and 20+ currencies, and we're looking for an entrepreneurial spirit to help drive future growth. Key Responsibilities Design and Develop Real-Time Dashboards: Create automated real-time dashboards to monitor and track performance of commerce systems, enabling data-driven decision-making. Anomaly Detection and Alerting: Develop trigger-based alerts for anomaly detection in real-time dashboards, identifying critical issues impacting system performance. Data Capture and Integration: Improve data capture into existing tools like Adobe Analytics, Looker, and Tableau, ensuring seamless data integration. Collaboration and Troubleshooting: Partner with engineering teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve anomalies, restoring system health. Insights and Recommendations: Collaborate with product teams to provide insights and recommendations, enhancing customer experience and business value. Performance Metrics and Review: Establish critical metrics for key system performance, reviewing them regularly with senior leadership. Independent Decision-Making: Make decisions independently and in concert with other teams, balancing collaboration and push-back as needed. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: 7+ Years of Relevant Experience: Direct-to-consumer, e-commerce, finance/fintech, media, and/or subscription services experience in domestic and/or international markets. Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: A degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. Data Visualization Expertise: Experience with data visualization tools to demonstrate and explain trends, patterns, and outliers to technical and non-technical audiences. Data Analysis and Insights: Experience processing large, complex data sets and deriving actionable insights. Database and Data Processing Skills: Expertise with structured or unstructured databases and data processing languages like SQL and Python. Storytelling with Data: Ability to weave data into a narrative, recommending constructive next steps. Exceptional Communication: Strong communication skills, from small group discussions to large group presentations, and through product analytics memos.
