About the Role We're seeking a highly skilled Senior SDK Engineer (L5) to join our Games SDK team. As a Senior Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing the tools that enable game developers to integrate with the Netflix Games Platform, creating a seamless and immersive experience for our members. Your expertise in C/C++, cross-platform development, and software engineering will be instrumental in driving the success of our gaming initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design and develop high-quality, scalable software solutions for the Netflix Games Platform using C/C++ on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Develop and maintain technical roadmaps, architectures, and documentation for the Games SDK. Work closely with game developers to integrate Netflix services into their games, providing technical guidance and support. Analyze data to inform design decisions and drive improvements in application quality. Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the Games SDK. Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Experience building cross-platform libraries using C/C++ on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Knowledge of game engines such as Unity and Unreal, native modules, and bindings. Experience developing third-party SDKs and integrating with external services. Strong understanding of client-server communications, including GraphQL data or similar technologies. Experience with automated testing and continuous integration environments. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and drive informed decisions. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experiences will give you a competitive edge: Experience with cloud-based services and microservices architecture. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins or similar. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
