As a Senior Social Insights Manager, you will be an integral part of this team, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that social data is used effectively across the organization. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth analyses of social media data to identify trends, sentiment, and consumer insights relevant to Hulu, its competitors, and target audiences. Design projects and provide actionable recommendations to inform strategies, content creation, and product development, with minimal supervision. Build and maintain cross-functional partnerships across the organization to understand business challenges and priorities, ensuring that social data is used effectively throughout the company. Proactively identify gaps in knowledge, opportunities for optimization, and make strategic recommendations to stakeholders, with the ability to pivot in response to changing business needs. Establish measurement frameworks and benchmarking systems to assess the effectiveness and impact of brand, originals, partnership, and other campaigns. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of Hulu's social data collection and measurement systems, as well as reporting processes. Coordinate with external vendors to ensure the successful execution of custom projects, meeting team and stakeholder expectations. Develop educational materials to help social managers effectively utilize social listening and analytics tools, as well as understand measurement techniques to guide their work and reporting needs. Provide thought leadership and guidance on emerging trends, shifts in digital behavior, and best practices in social media analytics and consumer insights. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in streaming, television, OTT, and social media, including trends, news, and tools. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: 6+ years of relevant work experience, with a Bachelor's Degree, or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Master's, MBA), preferably within the media and entertainment industry. Proficiency with social listening and analytics tools, methodologies, and their applications, including tools such as NetBase, BrandWatch, Meltwater, Infegy, ListenFirst, Sprinklr, and Dash Hudson. Experience executing social listening projects from start to finish, including writing and reviewing Boolean queries and analyzing outputs in relevant software. Strong familiarity with social platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube, and TikTok, as well as the consumer behaviors associated with them. The ability to turn data into meaningful insights, identify business impact, and present findings effectively. Strategic problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and project management expertise. Proficiency with Microsoft and Google Workspaces. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: A mix of agency, vendor, and client-side insights and social marketing experience. Experience working with a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) streaming service or a research company that works with a DTC streaming service. Familiarity with primary research methodologies and analysis. Compensation and Benefits The hiring range for this position in CA is $111,000.00 to $152,500.00 per year. The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to the competitive salary, you may be eligible for a bonus and/or long-term incentive units, as well as a range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
