Social Media and Email Marketing Specialist
Part-Time Social Media and Marketing Coordinator – Sports Equipment (10–15 hrs/week) About TAG: We design and manufacture high-performance sporting equipment, with a primary focus on football shoulder pads and protective gear. Our products are used by athletes who care about performance, safety, and innovation. The Role: We’re seeking a part-time Marketing Coordinator to support and help shape our digital marketing efforts, with a focus on social media and email marketing. This role is ideal for someone looking for a 10-15 hours a week, working as an independent contractor with hands-on marketing experience who wants to build real-world skills in an established sporting company that is growing. This role includes execution plus light strategy—you’ll help plan campaigns, analyze what’s working, and make recommendations, while collaborating closely with our internal team. Key Responsibilities: Social Media - Help develop and execute a social media content plan aligned with product launches, seasons, and campaigns - Create, schedule, and publish posts across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) - Adapt existing photos, videos, and product content into engaging posts - Monitor engagement and flag customer questions or trends - Track and report basic performance metrics Email Marketing: - Assist with planning and executing email campaigns (product launches, promotions, seasonal messaging) - Write and edit email copy consistent with brand voice - Build and send campaigns using our email platform - Monitor open rates, click-throughs, and campaign performance Marketing Strategy & Support: - Maintain a simple content and campaign calendar - Analyze performance data and suggest improvements - Research trends in sports, football, and competitor marketing - Support other marketing projects as needed (product launches, promotions, etc.) Qualifications: Required - - 1–3 years of marketing experience (internships count) - Experience managing or contributing to brand social media accounts - Strong writing and communication skills - Comfortable working independently with guidance and feedback Preferred - Experience with email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, etc.) - Familiarity with social scheduling tools - Basic design or content creation skills (Canva, short-form video) - Coursework or experience in marketing, communications, or business - Interest in sports, especially football Role Details: Part-time: 10–15 hours per week Hourly rate: up to $30/hour, depending on experience Flexible schedule with weekly deadlines Remote What Success Looks Like: - Consistent, professional social media presence - Well-executed email campaigns aligned with business goals - Growing engagement and improved campaign performance over time - Reliable communication and follow-through Apply tot his job
