About the position Responsibilities • Ensures that the company's market risks are identified, measured, and monitored. • Creates timely daily reports of MTM P&L and positions, analyzing changes between periods for gas and power. • Monitors compliance with Risk Management Policies and Procedures and assists in annual reviews. • Monitors daily broker balances and responds to margin calls promptly. • Recalls cash collateral from brokers and counterparties as requested. • Participates in developing procedures to ensure quality and integrity of risk measurements and model valuations. • Substantiates the accuracy of valuations and risk measurement calculations. • Validates transaction confirmations against details input into ETRM and resolves discrepancies. • Participates in special projects to improve risk management reporting and processes. • Monitors the contract approval process and ensures proper execution and storage of documents. • Supports the Supply team by maintaining the ETRM application and facilitating communication with counterparties. • Implements industry best practices. • Provides ad hoc reporting and analyses as required. • Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. • Strong quantitative and analytical skills. • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Awareness of industry standards and procedures. • Ability to manage multiple tasks with urgency. • Good communication skills for interaction with business partners and team members. • Strong organizational skills to balance tasks for multiple business partners. Nice-to-haves • Non-regulated Energy Industry experience.
