About the Role: Support the operationalization and implementation of sourcing and procurement strategies. Drive the negotiation process and lead cross functional sourcing projects. Assist in the development and execution of performance management programs. Analyze market trends, total cost / supply to identify opportunities to reduce costs and impact on clients. Research and implement best practices for procurement. The Professional Services Sourcing Team collaborates with key business stakeholders across Disney to define and execute sourcing strategies by creatively crafting deals that deliver value and maximize the value of our services investments. The category includes professional, ancillary, and contingent labor services including consulting and advisory, financial, tax, audit, information subscriptions, translations, temporary workers, technology services, and managed services. What you will do: The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for identifying potential suppliers, evaluating their capabilities and assisting in the selection of the supplier. This may include preparing and issuing RFPs to suppliers and supporting the analysis of responses. It is the responsibility of the Sourcing Specialist to support the supplier negotiation process including pricing, delivery schedules, etc. They will also be responsible for the creation and review of contracts. The Sourcing Specialist will conduct extensive market research to have a strong understanding of their areas of support. Through their research, they will stay informed about trends, suppliers, etc. to help support their decision making. Responsibilities: • Sourcing execution • Performance management programs • Procurement best practices implementation • Contract negotiation to secure optimal terms and cost savings. • Close collaboration with the Legal Department and internal stakeholders to align on contract terms and conditions. • Manage and maintain the PS contracts in Coupa while utilizing accurate naming conventions and relevant documents. • Set up, manage, and track projects through to contract completion in Coupa. Required Qualifications & Skills: • 2+ years of relevant work experience, and/or progressive experience • Ability to analyze data, conduct research, and summarize key points • Basic negotiation skills • Contract administration experience • Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement acumen • Ability to clearly communicate, including excellent verbal and presentation skills • Experience building relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior execs • Exceptional attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: • CPM, CIRM, CPIM, or similar certifications preferred Required Education • Bachelor’s degree in relevant area such as supply chain management, engineering or relevant work experience. Preferred Education • Graduate / Master’s degree in business or another quantitative field The hiring range for this position in California is $85,800.00 to $104,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
