Sr Logistics Analyst (Hybrid)

About the position Responsibilities • Work with cross functional teams to leverage the right data to drive superior execution of transportation solutions. • Build rapport with a third party, last-mile carrier through detail oriented communication and a demonstration of competency and understanding of overall outbound logistics. • Ability to understand key operational processes across a variety of distribution center types, to include regional centers, fulfillment centers and Multi-Channel supply chains and apply this knowledge across the network. • Develop, support and manage efficient supply chain processes through communication, execution of special events, realignments, new store openings and HQ driven initiatives. Responsible for maintaining key relationships with internal business partners. • Effective program management of steady state and new services that are implemented in the store and distribution network. • Proactive identification of problems, getting to root cause and developing and implementing process improvements. • Identify and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that drive the team toward excellence. • Manage and optimize product flow through port operations, ensuring on-time, cost-effective transportation. • Partner with carriers and 3PL providers to improve performance, efficiency, and service reliability. • Use data and KPIs to identify opportunities, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement. • Collaborate cross-functionally to execute transportation strategies and special events with precision. • Lead initiatives to enhance visibility, streamline processes, and enable faster decision-making. • Act as a change agent-challenging the status quo and driving innovation across the inbound transportation network. • Respond quickly and effectively to high-impact operational events to maintain service commitments. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations, Economics, or related field or equivalent experience. • Proven track record of ownership and delivering measurable results. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Experience working with transportation carriers or 3PL partners. • Demonstrated ability to use data and KPIs to drive performance improvement. • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. • Transportation management experience preferred.
