This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Amtrak OIG. We are currently looking for a Sr Principal CTI (Cyber Threat Intelligence) Analyst in United States. This senior role offers the opportunity to lead large-scale cyber security initiatives with a direct impact on enterprise-wide protection. As a trusted expert, you will shape security strategies, oversee critical risk assessments, and develop proactive measures to safeguard systems and data. You will act as the key advisor for leadership, ensuring compliance with industry standards and guiding security operations across applications, networks, and infrastructures. The role requires a balance of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills, with room to influence policies and mentor teams. It is ideal for someone eager to drive security innovation in a fast-evolving threat landscape. Accountabilities • Define and direct enterprise-wide security strategies, projects, and policies. • Lead architectural reviews, develop breach and escalation procedures, and oversee auditing protocols. • Conduct risk assessments, business impact analyses, and internal investigations of potential violations. • Provide subject matter expertise to IT and business leaders while ensuring compliance with national and international security standards. • Oversee security awareness programs, ensuring proactive training and compliance across the organization. • Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with third-party vendors, tools, and security products. • Respond to incidents, lead investigations, and generate actionable security reports for senior management. • Develop and monitor key security metrics, continuously identifying areas for improvement. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (advanced degree preferred). • 9+ years of experience in IT and security roles, with proven expertise in enterprise-level strategy development. • CISSP certification required, along with deep knowledge of security issues, tools, and implications across platforms. • Strong background in systems analysis, application development, and database security. • Demonstrated ability to lead investigations, manage large-scale projects, and deliver results on time and within budget. • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with internal teams and external vendors. • Experience designing and delivering training programs focused on IT security. • Ability to stay updated on emerging threats, tools, and compliance requirements.
