Sr. QA Lead, Compatibility, Games

As the Senior QA Lead for Compatibility with Netflix Games, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest quality for our games. This role demands a blend of technical expertise in mobile and cloud gaming with strong leadership skills to guide and mentor a dedicated team focused on performance testing. This position requires the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, actionable reports and to effectively manage and mentor a team of highly skilled technical testers for continuous improvement. A key focus will be adapting to new technologies and driving efficiency and effectiveness in performance testing. Responsibilities: Developing and implementing best practices for testing games in development across a diverse range of devices and configurations. Collaborating with internal analysts and external vendor test teams to define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs). Partnering with developers during early build testing to identify minimum device specifications. Providing recommendations on which devices to use for testing to Functional QA groups. Expanding efforts to automate performance reporting and growing team ability to provide analytical feedback and guidance. Working with cross-functional teams within the Netflix Games organization to pinpoint and address areas for improvement. Coordinating test passes with game teams and vendors to ensure timely execution. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in performance QA (games preferred) Minimum 2 years of experience with mobile (iOS and Android) 3+ years of experience in management roles 3+ years of experience in vendor management Excellent communication skills among cross functional teams Bonus Skills: Experience with multiple concurrent projects Experience with live title support Experience with training Experience with or technical aptitude Role is hybrid and must be able to come into the Los Gatos office Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $130,000 - $190,000. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
