Key Responsibilities As a Chat Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include: Answering 2-3 incoming chats using the LiveEngage (LivePerson) platform, providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers. Consulting customers on enhancing the value of their contact lens purchase, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell relevant products and services. Proactively communicating and engaging with your manager and team members to ensure success in a virtual work environment, including one-on-one meetings, team meetings, and team chats. Providing top-notch customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, identifying and resolving problems in a way that creates a positive customer experience. Maintaining high performance metrics, including revenue per call, quality, availability, and dependability, and living our company values in every interaction with customers and colleagues. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience. Great typing skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute, and technical proficiency in using computer systems and software applications. A reliable internet connection, with speeds of 20 mbps download and 10 mbps upload, or better, and a private, dedicated workspace that is free from interruption or distraction. A positive, driven, and solution-oriented mentality, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ability to show up to work on time and work your scheduled shift, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing circumstances and priorities. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven track record of success in a similar role. Knowledge of the vision care industry, with a understanding of contact lenses, glasses, and other related products and services. Experience using the LiveEngage (LivePerson) platform, or similar chat software, with a strong understanding of how to use technology to deliver exceptional customer service.
