About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and inquisitive Business Intelligence Developer to join our client, a national automotive lender, on a temp-to-perm basis. In this role, you will design and develop interactive dashboards that go beyond visualization, fostering a deeper understanding of the data. Your inquisitive nature will drive you to validate the answers the tools provide, ensuring that insights are accurate, meaningful, and actionable. Responsibilities • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into effective BI solutions. • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau. • Develop intuitive dashboards that simplify complex data and facilitate decision-making. • Analyze data and ask probing questions to ensure the insights generated are reliable. • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources to support accurate analysis and dashboard functionality. • Continuously iterate on dashboards, improving functionality and ensuring they answer evolving business questions. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, business, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role. • Strong expertise in Tableau, including dashboard creation, and data modeling. • Experience with Azure cloud services (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.). • Proficient in SQL and experienced in ETL processes. • Inquisitive mindset with a focus on verifying and refining insights produced by BI tools. • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills. • Knowledge of data governance and visualization best practices. • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. Nice-to-haves • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus.
