As a Technical Assistant, you will support the Underwriting teams by providing clerical and office support, preparing policies for issuance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities Prepare policies for policy issuance where applicable Review policies for accuracy and regulatory standards Review policy logs for accurate input Input policy and underwriting data in appropriate systems Process endorsements per request within established Company guidelines – where applicable Work with identified resources to maintain a structured diary system Work with identified resources to structure and maintain file organization Coordinate file pulls and manages diary system to ensure that all necessary information is received within established timelines Follow up on delinquent data Submission management – where applicable Actively be able to switch between competing tasks and priorities Open communication by phone, email, video services, or in person where applicable Skills Proficient verbal and written communication skills Solid mathematical aptitude Proficient in Microsoft Office products (particularly, Excel and Word) Good computer, organization, written and verbal communication skills Good multi-tasking skills: ability to organize work and perform within time constraints Ability to work independently with little direct supervision Knowledge of underwriting principles and processes Understands how to access and utilize necessary reference materials Familiarity with regulatory requirements Preferred knowledge of policy forms and documentation Benefits Competitive target incentive compensation Medical plans for you and your family Health and wellness programs Retirement plans Tuition reimbursement Paid vacation And much more Company Overview In a world that never stands still – where the nature of risk is constantly evolving and the needs of your customers are continually changing – you need a partner that turns challenges into possibilities and possibilities into opportunities.
