Technology Specialist
Rudick Innovation & Technology delivers mission-critical IT services to the Architecture, Engineering & Construction industry. As a Technology Specialist, you will provide Tier 1 technical support for clients, ensuring excellent customer service and effective communication while resolving end-user issues. Responsibilities Provide Tier 1 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and common business applications (Microsoft 365, Windows OS, Adobe/Autodesk/Egnyte) Use RMM and PSA tools (Datto RMM, Autotask PSA) to log, troubleshoot, and resolve tickets Identify issues that require escalation and work with remote engineering teams to hand off appropriately Assist with physical device setups, office tech moves, and on-site troubleshooting Deliver excellent customer service with a calm, solutions-oriented approach Maintain documentation, asset tracking, and clear communication with both clients and internal teams Be a trusted steward of the client relationship—represent RIT with professionalism, reliability, and a solution-first attitude Skills 1-3 years of hands-on IT support experience; MSP or AEC support is a plus A minimum of one industry certification (CompTIA A+ or equivalent 3-years work experience) Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows OS, and cloud-based file systems like Egnyte Ability to prioritize and multitask while maintaining a professional, client-facing demeanor Comfortable making friendly small talk with end users—without distracting from their workflow Clear communicator, fast and accurate typist (60+ WPM), and organized under pressure Experience in customer-facing roles (retail, hospitality, service industry) is highly valued Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401(k) matching Certification reimbursement Company Overview Information Technology & Services It was founded in 2018, and is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, USA, with a workforce of 11-50 employees.
