Provide compassionate, expert nursing care in a dynamic healthcare setting located in West Des Moines, IA. This contract role offers a rewarding opportunity for a registered nurse specializing in telemetry to apply clinical skills and contribute to patient recovery and well-being during evening and overnight hours. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor and assess patients with cardiac and other telemetry-related conditions, ensuring accurate observation of heart rhythms and vital signs. • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining adherence to healthcare protocols. • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. • Document patient information meticulously, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. • Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, providing emergency care when necessary. Qualifications: • Current RN license with experience or certification in telemetry nursing. • Strong ability to interpret cardiac telemetry and respond to arrhythmias. • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills. • Ability to work efficiently during evening and overnight shifts. • Commitment to delivering compassionate patient-centered care. Schedule: • Evenings and overnight shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. • Every other weekend (EOW) commitment required.
