We are now seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Temporary Customer Care Professional to join our team, delivering exceptional support to Long Term Care policy owners, financial representatives/agents, and client representatives. Job Overview This temporary position, expected to last 6 months, offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing telephonic customer service to our valued customers. As a Temporary Customer Care Professional at blithequark, you will be responsible for responding to telephone and electronic inquiries, documenting all calls and correspondence, and providing prompt, courteous, and excellent service to internal and external customers. Key Responsibilities Answers and responds to telephone and/or electronic inquiries regarding Long Term Care benefit administration, policy owner eligibility, and claims processing. Documents all calls and related correspondence using our proprietary insurance system or other tools and office processes, including follow-up calls, voicemails, and pending service requests. Provides prompt, courteous, and excellent service to internal and external customers at all times, actively cooperating and interacting with other departments to advance the overall interest of blithequark. Identifies service opportunities and suggests innovative ideas for improvement, handling multiple products and services while meeting established service requirements and standards. Acts with a sense of urgency and takes ownership regarding aspects of call management and escalation of issues, ensuring that issues are referred to appropriate areas and leveraging internal relationships for efficient issue resolution. Assists with the production of Policy Owner Services duties as required, including updating databases and recording information in the proper location. Performs other duties and projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow with our organization. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or GED, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. You should be familiar with business and phone protocols, with excellent organization and detail orientation skills, and the ability to meet established deadlines. Proficiency in the MS Windows environment, including MS Word, is also required. Additionally, you should be reliable, trustworthy, and maintain appropriate organizational confidentiality. A minimum of one year of customer service experience working in a fast-paced, ever-changing call center environment is essential. Preferred Qualifications While not required, an Associate degree in Business Administration or a BA/BS is preferred. Previous experience working in an insurance or financial services environment is also desirable, although not necessary.
