Job Summary We're seeking an ambitious and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the NE, KS, OK territories. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for growing our landscape contractor channel, developing and growing our current Light Pro base, and expanding our distribution network. Key Responsibilities Grow the landscape contractor channel by developing and growing the current Light Pro base of contractors through cultivation activities. Conduct calling efforts and product trainings at the contractor-installer level, with the intention of creating conversion from competitors' loyal contractors to Kichler. Develop and grow market share of current distribution network and seek out new distribution opportunities by providing valued-added activities – Trainings, Demo Days, product reviews. Provide sales and market share growth leadership and results for contractor and distributor sales initiatives. Conduct seminars and training programs as needed for specific customers. Conduct specification calls on Landscape Architects as needed in conjunction with travel in the specific geographical territory. Mentor assigned sales representatives, both independent and direct factory. Maintain relationships with existing Light Pro Contractors base and distributor sales representatives to develop new lighting contractors on an ongoing basis. Communicate to Kichler and field agents within 48 hours. Requirements Essential Qualifications: High school education required; college degree preferred. Five years of experience in the landscape lighting and/or irrigation industry. Proven track record of sales success in a related industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with lighting products and industry knowledge. Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools. Experience with training and conducting seminars.
