As a Tester 2, you will be responsible for planning, constructing, and executing product tests, system tests, unit tests, load tests, volume tests, and network tests. You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve defects, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning and Execution: Create test models for product testing and release control, including plans, data, and scripts. Execute assembly or product tests, and meet time estimates for assigned tasks. Defect Identification and Resolution: Identify and report defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues in a timely manner. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate accurate status updates to stakeholders, and collaborate with the development team to ensure that products meet quality standards. Test Environment Management: Assist in the planning, creation, and control of test environments, and ensure that testing is conducted in a controlled and efficient manner. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with new developments in the industry and apply knowledge to work as appropriate. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have: Education: A 4-year college degree is preferred. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in testing, with a strong background in Agile projects and experience with versioning tools such as GIT. Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft products, including SQL, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Knowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies and excellent oral and written communication skills. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: We would also like to see: Experience with Cloud-Based Technologies: Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as Azure, is a plus. Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards, such as HIPAA or PCI-DSS. Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as ISTQB or CSTE, are preferred.
