TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER (CIVIL)
Caltrans District 3 is responsible for improving lives and communities through transportation. They are seeking a Transportation Engineer (Civil) to assist in managing the Maintenance Complete Streets Program, collaborating with stakeholders to develop and maintain essential tools and training for Complete Streets facilities. Responsibilities Assisting in managing the Maintenance Complete Streets Program Partnering with internal and external stakeholders in reviewing, developing, and updating websites, databases, GIS data, guidance, manuals, and electronic tools of Complete Streets facilities and inventory verification, validation, and condition assessment Providing training and guidance to District Maintenance Engineers and other stakeholders on processes and best practices for Complete Streets Working closely with Districts and other stakeholders to meet the Program's objectives and requirements Traveling to meet internal and external stakeholders as required Skills Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a State owned or leased vehicle Appointment to Range D requires a valid Professional Engineering License (Civil) issued by the California Board of Registration for Professional Engineers.
