They are seeking a Traveling Field Service Technician to provide on-site service, diagnose technical issues, and build customer relationships while traveling extensively across the U.S. Responsibilities Work with cutting-edge Canon equipment and technologies Build strong relationships with customers through direct on-site service Receive ongoing training and opportunities for career growth in a supportive, team-oriented environment Travel extensively within the US to install the Canon Ink Jet Product Diagnose mechanical, software, network, and system issues using established procedures Deliver high-quality, professional on-site service to meet or exceed customer expectations Complete Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and maintain all assigned Canon property Assist with escalated technical or customer service issues and guide less experienced technicians Skills High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent + 1–2 years of technical or field service experience Basic understanding of internet/network environments A strong mechanical aptitude Ability to complete the 20-day PDIF training Willingness and ability to travel extensively (75-80%), including overnight stays typically lasting up to a duration of 2 weeks Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to lift 50 lbs and stay active for most of the workday Comfortable with shift work, installs will involve Overtime and weekend work Benefits Employee referral bonus Employee discounts Dress for Your Day attire program (casual is welcome, based on your job function) Volunteer opportunities to give back to our local community Swag!
