TRIAL PARTNER ATTORNEY - LABOR & EMPLOYMENT Location: Orange County, California HYBRID/FULL REMOTE ELIGIBLE Our client, a prestigious law firm recognized in the 2025 edition of Best Law Firms®, is seeking an accomplished Trial Partner Attorney to join its team in California. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator with extensive first-chair trial experience who thrives in the courtroom and enjoys managing sophisticated, high-stakes employment matters. Candidates who bring strong leadership abilities, sound judgment, and a passion for trial work will excel in this dynamic environment. Candidate Profile • JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record • Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing • 10+ years of substantive labor & employment law experience, including significant employment trial experience • Proven track record of success in jury trials, with preference for candidates who also have appellate experience • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor, supervise, and develop junior attorneys • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-stakes litigation from inception through trial • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking skills with the ability to oversee multiple matters • Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-relations skills, including the ability to advise on trial strategy • Willingness to travel for trials, hearings, and client needs Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage high-stakes employment litigation matters through all phases, including trial • Develop case theories, litigation strategies, and trial plans tailored to each client's objectives • Serve as first chair at trial, conduct jury trials, and handle appellate matters as needed • Oversee case teams, providing mentorship, strategic guidance, and quality control • Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to deliver comprehensive legal solutions • Build and maintain strong relationships with sophisticated clients, providing strategic counsel and trial-focused advice • Contribute to the growth and development of the labor & employment practice through leadership and business-building initiatives Why Join Us?
