UX Researcher (USA Remote)

As a UX Researcher, you will lead research initiatives that directly shape product strategy and user experiences. You will design, plan, and execute end-to-end research projects, combining qualitative depth with quantitative rigor to generate actionable insights. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, you will influence product decisions and optimize user interactions. This role thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity are highly valued. You will also contribute to building research best practices, mentoring peers, and disseminating insights across the organization to drive meaningful educational outcomes. Accountabilities · Plan, design, and conduct both small-scale and mid-sized UX research studies. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define research objectives and translate findings into actionable insights. · Provide product and design teams with a deep understanding of user behaviors, needs, and motivations. · Participate in workshops and user-centered design sessions to inform product strategy. · Advocate for best practices in UX research and support knowledge sharing across teams. · Present research findings to stakeholders, ensuring actionable recommendations guide product decisions. · Continuously evaluate research processes and contribute to improving operational efficiency of the research function. · Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human-computer interaction (HCI), statistics, social science, or a related field. · 2–7 years of experience in UX research, market research, behavioral science, or applied statistics. · Proficiency in designing, implementing, and analyzing quantitative research (e.g., surveys, usage analytics, experimental designs). · Strong statistical analysis skills and the ability to integrate quantitative and qualitative insights. · Experience managing end-to-end research projects independently, from planning to communication of results. · Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to influence cross-functional teams. · Portfolio demonstrating diverse research methods and tangible impact on product decisions. · Experience in education technology or AI-related research is a plus. · Competitive annual salary: $83,400 – $139,000. · Remote-first work environment with flexible arrangements. · Health care coverage and wellness programs. · Paid time off, including national holidays, self-care days, and founder days. · Education reimbursement and professional development support. · Retirement plan with company match. · Paid volunteer time and charitable contribution matching. · Inclusive, collaborative, and growth-oriented workplace culture.
