VP, Financial Crimes Wealth Management Policy Adherence & Engagement Lead

You will also serve as a key point of contact for engaging and educating employees on policy requirements and best practices.To be successful in this position, you must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in financial crimes and compliance, with a deep understanding of the wealth management industry. You should also possess strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate and engage with a diverse group of stakeholders. Develop and implement strategies to ensure adherence to financial crimes policies within the wealth management division. Serve as a subject matter expert and key point of contact for all matters related to financial crimes policies in wealth management. Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing policies and procedures to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, risk management, and legal, to ensure alignment and consistency in policy adherence. Develop and deliver training programs and materials to educate employees on financial crimes policies and best practices. Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and potential areas of risk, and develop proactive measures to mitigate and prevent financial crimes. Lead and manage a team of policy adherence and engagement specialists, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their professional development. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on policy adherence and risk management in wealth management. Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to financial crimes in wealth management. Partner with internal and external auditors to facilitate reviews and audits related to financial crimes policies. Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures related to policy adherence to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, regulators, and industry peers. Represent the organization in industry forums and conferences, sharing best practices and promoting the company's commitment to policy adherence and compliance. Provide timely and accurate reporting on policy adherence and engagement efforts to senior leadership and relevant committees.
