Key Responsibilities As a Warehouse Equipment Operator at DHL, your key responsibilities will include: Operating powered equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, to load, unload, move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products. Safely and efficiently handling products according to procedures and safety guidelines. Verifying product quantity, quality, labeling, and addresses against customer orders to ensure accurate outgoing shipments. Replacing equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitoring the power supply as necessary. Identifying and reporting discrepancies such as missing or damaged products (OS&D). Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and equipment. Conducting daily inspections of equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance. Supporting physical inventory processes as required. Collaborating with team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain a positive work environment. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful as a Warehouse Equipment Operator at DHL, you will need: Essential Qualifications: Previous experience in warehouse operations, preferably 6-12 months. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to teamwork and safety. High School Diploma or equivalent. Certification or proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in a logistics or supply chain environment. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS). Experience with inventory management and control.
