Worksite Billing Specialist

Texas Life Insurance Company is seeking a Worksite Billing Specialist to join their team. This role involves billing, reconciliation, and premium application for employer clients and individual policy owners, serving as the main point of contact for customer service related to billing. Responsibilities Schedule and provide billing statements, when appropriate, to employer clients and/or TPA, reconcile and process all remittances received from employer clients Communicate with employer clients, agents, TPAs and/or policy owners via phone or email to assist with any billing related items timely and thoroughly Communicate timely and thoroughly with employer clients and/or TPAs regarding adds, changes, and/or deletes during the billing cycle Monitor suspense balances daily and work weekly departmental reports Work monthly aging report, perform regular group clean-up Skills Banking or experience with basic understanding of debits and credits, basic mathematical computations with high degree of accuracy, and basic understanding of accounting Strong written and oral communication skills in order to correspond effectively with employer clients, agents, TPAs and policy owners via phone and email and/or in person Computer skills, including Excel Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Critical thinking, problem solving and ability to prioritize multiple tasks while facing deadlines, maintaining accuracy and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures Ability to work collaboratively in a group or independently with little oversight Self motivated and enjoy a fast-paced working environment Benefits Tuition reimbursement Professional development 401k with company match and profit sharing Participation in two bonus programs Company Overview Texas Life Insurance Company is an insurance company specializing in financial security and insurance plans.
